I had two days off in a row, so I figured I better get to the parks for one of them. Unbeknownst to me, that was the plan for many, many other people as well. So a week in advance, I had a park pass for Wednesday at EPCOT. Also, unbeknownst to me, that was Day 1 of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. How I could get into EPCOT and not into Magic Kingdom on that day is well beyond me, but hey, here are some fun pics from the newest festival.
I had a friend at the parks that day, too. We met right after I got off of the Gran Fiesta Tour and while waiting, I just had to snap a shot of the Mexico Pavilion.
In reality, I got the festival passport near the end of my trip around the world and so I have it at home for study and route planning for the next time I visit, because the Flower and Garden festival is gonna be here for a WHILE.
And with the barrel of monkeys climbing through the trees, that’s the end of this journey. Thank you so much for reading and I hope to be back in the parks real soon. Really, really soon. For a different kind of festival. Maybe a fan-favorite festival and other alliterative things.
